§ 100450.213. Qualified Specialist. “Qualified specialist” means a physician licensed in California who is board certified or board eligible in the corresponding specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties, the Advisory Board for Osteopathic Specialties, or a Canadian Board or other appropriate foreign specialty board as determined by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
