Rule 3. Preference for Trial
Currentness
The earliest practicable trial date shall be set for cases entitled to preference by reason of statute, rule or order if a request for preference is made in the Motion to Set or Controverting Certificate citing the appropriate rule or statute. The following cases shall be preferred in the following order:
(a) any case granted preference by statute or other rule of Court;
(b) domestic relations cases;
(c) probate cases;
(d) short causes;
(e) hardship cases where preference is granted after motion to the Court.
