These rules, as adopted and promulgated by the Supreme Court of Arizona on February 10, 1975, effective March 1, 1975, were originally titled “Rules of Procedure for Appeals to Superior Court from the Final Judgment of a Justice or Police Court.” By order dated November 19, 1979, effective April 1, 1980, the rules were amended and the title changed to “Superior Court Rules of Appellate Procedure--Criminal.”
