Rule 20. Default by the Respondent
A. If the respondent fails to appear as required, the allegations of the charging document shall be deemed admitted, and the court shall enter judgment for the City and impose a civil sanction.
B. If it appears that the respondent is in the active military service, no default judgment may be entered. In such case, the court may notify the respondent's commanding officer, if known, of the respondent's failure to appear.
