Rule 2.22. Setting Aside Default Judgment
A. For good cause shown, and upon terms the court deems just, the court may set aside a judgment entered upon a failure to appear. A motion to set aside a default judgment shall be made in writing within 30 days after entry of the default judgment.
B. At any time, the court shall set aside a judgment entered upon an initial failure to appear in response to the court's summons, if it appears that the defendant was not served as provided by law with a copy of the complaint and summons, or for any other reason where necessary to prevent a manifest injustice.
