Rule 2.14. Questioning of Witnesses
Currentness
A. The court may, on its own motion, call and examine witnesses present at the hearing, including the defendant in cases other than those consolidated pursuant to Rule 2.11.
B. No person may be examined or cross-examined at a hearing except by the court, an attorney for a party, or the defendant.
