Rule 19. Court Interpreters
a. Arrangements for Court Interpreter. Counsel must make arrangements to provide their own interpreters in civil cases when they desire to have the civil proceeding interpreted at counsel's table. This Court will provide an interpreter for all witnesses testifying during a Court proceeding in both civil and criminal cases, and for a defendant at defense counsel's table in all criminal cases where an interpreter is requested.
b. Notice to Court. Counsel shall advise the court at least five (5) court days in advance of hearing, whether an interpreter is requested. Failure to make a timely request may be deemed a waiver of an interpreter or result in the postponement of a scheduled matter.
