Rule 16. Civil Appeals from Justice Courts
When an appeal is taken in a civil case from the Justice Court to the Superior Court, and the appellee must pay to the Clerk of the Court the required fee within the time limits set by A.R.S. ยง 22-283, the Clerk shall, upon the written request of the appellant, enter default of appellee, and the Court shall hear the matter as other default cases are heard.
