Rule 12. Change of Pleas in Criminal Cases
At the time of the arraignment in a Criminal Case, the Court will set a time limit for plea negotiations. The criminal case will be called back on the calendar on the plea negotiation date, and counsel will advise the Court if the parties have negotiated a plea. If no plea has been negotiated by the given date, the Court will not accept any pleas, other than to the charges contained in the indictment or information, except upon written motion based upon a showing of good and sufficient cause.
