Rule 1.2. Law and Motion Day: Calendar and Limitations on Time Allowable for Oral Arguments
a. Law and Motion Day. Every Monday, unless another day is specified by the Court, shall be set aside as Law and Motion day, except in the Juvenile Division. When a legal holiday falls on a Monday, the Tuesday following such Monday shall be designated as Law and Motion day.
b. Time Limitations. Unless otherwise specified by the Court, presentation of evidence and/or argument on any motion or proceeding brought before the Court on any Law and Motion day shall be limited to no more than ten minutes per side. Any hearing or proceeding which cannot be completed within such a time frame shall not be scheduled on a Law and Motion day and shall be regularly placed on the weekly court calendar for a hearing set for such a length of time as may be reasonably necessary to complete such hearing.
