A final order for joint legal decision-making, including a decree of dissolution of marriage or legal separation containing such order, may not be entered unless the responding party's appearance fee has been paid. If the decree or order is to be entered by default and the responding party has appeared in the action only by payment of an appearance fee to allow an award of joint legal decision-making, notice to the responding party pursuant to Rule 44.2(b), ARFLP, is not required.
