007.10.25-I. Definitions
Currentness
The following terms are defined for the purpose of these Regulations:
A. Pet Turtles: Any and all small turtles, tortoises, terrapins under six inches long and other amphibious reptiles.
B. For Sale: includes offer for sale or distribution at wholesale or retail, as a gift to the public, or offering as a promotional consideration, of a live turtle or turtles, tortoise, terrapin under six inches long, or any other amphibious reptile.
C. Salmonellosis: For the purpose of these Rules and Regulations, the term salmonellosis will mean turtle-associated salmonellosis and other bacteriological contamination which may cause disease in humans (especially children).
