016.14.1-206. Motor Vehicle Purchase (MMV) Fund Transfers
Currentness
I. PURPOSE: To provide a uniform departmental procedure for establishing and maintaining an efficient transfer of funds method for departmentally purchased vehicles.
II. PROCEDURES:
A. The Department of Human Services (DHS), Administrative Services, Managerial Accounting Section, Reporting and Forecasting Unit receives notification that the Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) has approved a vehicle replacement and is awaiting transfer of funds to the MMV Fund.
B. The DHS division or office affected forwards the funding information to the Reporting and Forecasting Unit to request the transfer of funds from the appropriate account into the MMV fund account for payment of the vehicle purchase.
C. The Managerial Accounting Section, Funds Control Unit initiates the transfer process and notifies DFA.
