016.04.4-17. Fiscal Management (FM)
Currentness
The Governing Body shall oversee the management of a program which maintains a comprehensive written schedule of service fees and charges and which offers a reasonable payment plan that takes into account the clients' income, resources and dependents. This will be reviewed and approved annually by the governing body and shall be accessible to the public (applies to non-profit organizations only).
FM1 The Governing Body shall ensure that the program has liability insurance that provides for the protection of the physical and financial resources of the program:
a. To cover its clients, staff and general public;
b. To include coverage of the building, equipment, and vehicles; and
c. If part of a governmental agency, in lieu of liability insurance, the program has other proper means of protection for the items specified.
