The following terms are defined for the purpose of these Rules and Regulations:
A. Toxic Substance - Any substance which, when ingested, inhaled, or absorbed or when applied to, injected into, or developed within the body, even in relatively small amounts, by its chemical or immunological action, may cause damage to structure or disturbance of body function; a poison.
B. Etiologic Substance - A viable microorganism or its toxin which causes, or may cause, disease.
C. Experimental Purposes - Any use of a toxic substance or etiologic agent which is done for the purpose of testing the effects of said agent or substance.
