007.19.1-17. Thermometer Calibration Procedure
17.1 Use the ice-point method: Insert the thermometer probe and the reference thermometer probe into a container of ice and water. Allow the temperature to stabilize. Compare readings and adjust thermometer to reference thermometer reading according to the manufacturer's directions and/or service or replace thermometer.
17.2 Hot-point calibration method: Immerse the thermometer probe and the reference thermometer probe into water set at 65°Celsiuis. Allow the temperature to stabilize. Compare readings and adjust thermometer to reference thermometer reading according to manufacturer's directions and/or service or replace thermometer.
