054.00.26-1. Purpose.
The purpose of this Emergency Rule is to authorize and to set forth the conditions and procedures for participation by insurers in modem systems for holding and transferring securities without physical delivery of securities certificates, specifically through utilization of clearing corporations, securities broker-dealers and the Federal Reserve book-entry system.
