Currentness
When a food processing establishment of the type listed below is constructed, or when an existing building or similar permanent enclosure is converted for use as a food processing establishment, the plans shall be submitted to the State Department of Health for review and approval prior to construction and/or conversion for
1. Bottling Plants
2. Canning Plants
3. Food Processing Plants
4. Food Stores and Markets
5. Frozen Food Locker Plants
6. Poultry and Rabbit Dressing Plants
7. Custom Slaughtering Plants and Processors
If such establishments are remodeled to the extent that the cost of such remodeling exceeds $2,500.00, plans also shall be submitted for review and approval prior to remodeling.
