This handbook has been prepared to provide foster parents with information they will need to become a foster family and to maintain standing as a foster family. This handbook contains the standards that are required for a family to become approved to operate as a foster home and information about the role of a foster family. Please read this entire handbook to be familiar with the standards for which a family is responsible, and to ensure the family's continued compliance.
